A political upstart of dubious credentials, Raj Thackray has given himself the right to decide who in India will reside where. A few more lunatics like him and India will begin to resemble a zoo with different enclosures for different animals. Saner elements in the State have rightly put him in his place. Those like him, who depend on inciting hatred in the country and prompting their goons like the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), for their political survival, deserve to be tried like common criminals and put behind bars.
Raj Thackray's statement that " Amitabh Bachchan makes his money in Maharashtra and decides to do things elsewhere in India" needs condemnation from every quarter. It would be interesting to ferret out what Raj Tackray does to make money and what he does with it. Those of his ilk who inspire violence in the country cannot be loyal to their peoples. The guy has shown disloyalty even to his family by going against Bal Thackray, his political mentor. Amitabh Bachchan, cultural ambassador of India, has long since proved his Indian credentials and it remains for the country to judge where Raj Tackray and his brand of loyalties stand. The cheap methods of Raj Tackray, it must be said, have managed to get him the easy publicity he was looking for. Raj Tackray is starting something he is definitely not capable of handling. Such narrow political agendas spell trouble for the country and his outfit, the MNS. The 12% people voting in his favor is a sign of troubling times ahead. The State and Central govts will regret not having put down such frivolous attempts with an iron hand now.

I agree completely. The man deserves to be tried and put in his place. Who the hell is he to decide who lives where in this free land? India is a free country. Maharashtra is an integral part of India and every Indian has the right to move freely within its sovereign boundaries. Such views are professed to exploit insecurity among people and make the nation weak.
