The putrid law and order machinery in the country has always encouraged criminals and politicians to get away with anything. As long as the agencies responsible for maitaining law and order continue to be ineffective, politicians and criminals like Doctor Santosh Raut alias Amit Kumar will continue to plague the Indian society.
